The Good Schools Guide International

GSGI

The Good Schools Guide International is an independent guide for families moving to India and looking for information about schools in India. It is written by parents for parents and tells you the best international schools worldwide that cater to English-speaking expatriates- British, IB, American international schools and even national curriculum schools that expats choose.

The Good Schools Guide International (GSGI) now has schools reviewed and/or editors working in more than forty countries, some of which have not been listed on the GSGI yet. New schools and articles go up daily, and new countries and editors continue to be added.

Find Schools

You can find schools by location or school characteristics using their search tool.  All “schools considered by  English-speaking expats” in India are listed. However, the best schools are indicated by their "flag of approval" and are comprehensively reviewed by the GSGI.

You can also read feature articles about education in India. Some are free articles but you will have to subscribe to access most of them. The subscription gives you access to more than 200 articles on schooling abroad, curriculum differences...etc.

Educational Advisory Service

GSGI has set up a consultancy to advise parents, one-to-one, on choosing the best schooling for their children before they move abroad. GSGI advisors are all expats, and all are parents or educators.

Advisors can give advice on:

  • Specific local schools
  • Educational systems, curricula, exams for a particular country
  • Cultural overviews (expat survival and life in the host country)
  • Other questions about moving overseas
